Bagsakan Kabataan debuts at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines
The first Bagsakan Kabataan at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines was officially held last April 11, 2025 in partnership with farmers from San Jose del Monte, Bulacan and Tarlac. NNARA Youth-PUP together with allied organization, Sibol ng Agham at Teknolohiya (SIBAT), spearheaded the event at the university’s Sunken Lagoon.
Students, vendors, faculty, and staff patronized the fresh and affordable products of the farmers who grew their crops from collective farms and directly sold their high-quality harvests for student-friendly prices. Through this initiative, the youth not only helped our farmers sell their products, but also forwarded the masses’ struggle for sustainable agriculture, support for local production, genuine agrarian reform, and lower prices for basic goods
